Wisconsin rapper/singer Ra'Shaun has melodies on deck. The young artist just let go of "She Told Me," a rap track with an infectious hook and buoyant flows. His newest song is a blend of smooth raps and a story of a relationship with a girl. The song details a decision he has to make of whether or not to commit to a relationship; her convincing nature seems to inspire the narrative told in the lyrics. On "She Told Me," Ra'Shaun effectively delivers a feel-good story with bouncing melodies. The listener is left itching for more and wishing that the budding songwriter would continue with this style in future releases. Ra'Shaun is gearing up to drop his debut project, Somewhere From Nowhere with his producer/engineer Chris LaBella, later this year, but for now heck out "She Told Me" up above.
