In his usual fashion, DJ Quik serves up a nice summer tinged, bouncy backdrop for Ford to shower melodic praises on the female folk from all over the world, no one is left out as he gives props to ladies from Europe, Asia, and all the way down to Africa. While Ford shines bright on the song with his auto-tune laced melodic performance, DJ Quik also comes through with a solid verse detailing his perfect type of woman
"World Girl" marks Quik's return to the forefront after a five-year hiatus and truth be told he hasn't lost a pep in his step. "World Girl" is the lead single off of DJ Quik's forthcoming first solo album in five years, currently untitled. The follow up to his 2014 'The Midnight Life' LP. The highly-anticipated 10th studio album is slated for a late-2018 release.
