The Calliope Projects raised emcee's backstory has an unfortunate genesis as he was forced to leave his hometown in 2005 due to the mass destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. He further summarizes his experience as follows "...Growing up in Calliope was the best thing that could've happened to me. It was gutta, but the love was real. When the hurricane hit we lost it all..." After moving to Cali, he picked himself up despite the odds and aligned himself with a group of young men with unfortunate circumstances who all had one common goal: make it out of their environment’s, take care of their family's, and lead a lifestyle that inspires peers alike to do the same.
"Lottery Lucc" is taken from Nno's upcoming EP MOËT (Money Over Everything Twice), a project that would give his fans and peers an inside look on where he came from and how he continues knocking down every barrier put in his way; to overcome the odds of the dead-end lifestyle set out for him.
