Boasting releases and remixes from the likes of Andrea Oliva, Dan Ghenacia, Guti and Peggy Gou – Cuttin' Headz founded by Martinez Brothers in 2014, following the conception of their vinyl-only label with Seth Troxler, is a label with a reputation for delivering outstanding music from outstanding producers. As well as releasing on their own imprint, the Martinez Brothers have also released on Objektivity, Crosstown and Loco Dice's Desolat, and now welcome the infamous German DJ, Producer and label head to their roster.
A stellar set guaranteed when teaming up for infamous b2b sessions, Loco Dice and Martinez Brothers are a musical duo that deliver – behind the decks or behind the scenes. The '$lammer' EP, out now, is a two track wonder courtesy of Loco Dice and a remix from detroit born techno legend, Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000. The title track is bass heavy, with resounding synths and a processed vocal cementing this as an immediate Loco classic. DJ T-1000 brings in the sound of his home city underground for his version of "$lammer", stripping back the original and focusing on the rhythms and vocal – creating something that builds into a more heady track for the club.
