Saltwater Sun return with ferocious new offering "The Wire". And, EARMILK have the premiere of their new video, directed and edited by Laurie Barraclough.
"The Wire" has already seen support from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, and it's clear to see why. Front-woman Jen Stearnes’ bold and infectious vocals cut through the guitar driven mercurial pop. Even though "The Wire" is actually the Reading quintet’s first release of 2018, the single sets them up exceedingly well for the year amongst their indie peers. "The Wire" boasts stratospheric hooks, explosive guitars and scrumptious harmonies. "The Wire" is released via Hand In Hive (Dama Scout, Swimming Tapes, Zuzu).
"We wanted a video that represented some of the difficult ideas in the song, but in a more positive way. The lyrics are about losing what little control we have and that’s exactly what happens in the video – but instead of anger and despair, we’ve got a guy losing himself to dance." – Saltwater Sun
