'Everything's Fine' in this latest collaborative work from Jean Grae & Quelle Chris

Jean Grae & Quelle Chris have put together one of the most self-aware albums of 2018 with the release of Everything's Fine. This fifteen track album is rife with comedic relief, spoken word, rap, lo-fi beats, sample-heavy production and yes, tracks with Hannibal Buress and Nick Offerman.

"Everything's Fine" is a phrase we are all guilty of saying. When asked, "How is it going?" the modern human responds with the catchall statement that rolls up and bottles everything that isn't going alright into the ham-handed response of, *great big breath in and sigh* "Everything's Fine."

Jean Grae and Quelle Chris rap over distorted soul and lo-fi funk samples with an introspective tinge about how not fine they are. Everything's Fine is a collaborative masterclass in millennial meanderings and musings about how blasé the world has become – from the swipe dating culture to Marvel movies.

Each song is an amalgamation of sample-heavy beat and a deadpan stream of conscious rap that is just so necessary.

A combination of satire and therapy Everything's Fine is a must listen this weekend if you, "just can't even" and need to decompress after the long work week.
