Alternative/hip-hop act okay(K) is back on our pages with "Clementine(s) Pt. II [Oranges in the Sky]."
The song serves as a sequel to his previously released "Clementine(s)." Over a somber lo-fi backdrop, okay(K) displays his unique delivery: offbeat, melody-laced, and rap-tinged with tiny vocal effects. The seemingly odd title actually carries thoughtful messages in it. Oranges in the Sky refers to blessings offered to individuals throughout their lives. Sometimes we eat these “clementine(s)” that are given to us sooner rather than later, and possibly later rather than sooner. Ideal circumstances or not, we tend to re-experience these clementine(s) (or blessings) as life goes on.
Keep an eye on okay(K) for upcoming music on the pipeline.
