Justin Jay has spent the past year experimenting in his music and growing his brand. On his 2017 album Home, he traveled to the edges of the electronic music realm, making it so that when he has a new release out, it's hard to know what to expect.
This time, the LA-based artist has partnered up with Thumpasaurus on an irresistible funky gem entitled "Wayne's World." Thumpasaurus, a five-piece band from Jay's own alma mater USC – is rooted in funk and the DIY scene. This is something we've come to expect from Justin Jay: collaborative measures with fellow artists in the LA music scene across electronic and live instrumentalism. His label, Fantastic Voyage, has supported them too. In this collaboration, both parties go back to their roots ahead of a forthcoming joint EP, Justin Jay x Thumpasaurus.
