Ah, the 2000's – a time when the house-pop crossover world was both uniquely UK and also thriving there. Calvin Harris and David Guetta were charting and leading the way in electronic music, and there was a cheekiness to the pop charting tracks that made it obvious we were just touching the surface of the scene when hearing those songs. There was a naïveté, a hope in the music.
Mason came into breakout fame at that time, as well. And with his latest release, "Dance, Shake, Move," he's taken us back to that time.
