Rising singer/songwriter Nissi debuts on EARMILK with her infectious new record titled "Favourite List". The groovy jam is pure butter with its crisp lively piano chords, lush bass-line, and rollicking drum patterns. The cherry on top, of course, are the magnificent vocals from Nissi that gleam from start to finish. The love-laden track is also bolstered by her bi-lingual lyrics as she blends English with some Yoruba elements adding a truly organic Afrocentric vibe to complete the affair. Speaking about how the single came about, Nissi says, “I created this song the last time I was in my hometown Port Harcourt, literally surrounded by all the people I started my musical journey with, in one room, just feeding off each others energy. It was such a love-filled spaced, without any worries, and it put in perspective, the things that really matter, and that’s what is really at the top of my favourite list”.
As usual, she teamed up with her frequent collaborators Cornel Sorian and JoeBagz who helped bring the song to life. "Favourite List" is the London-based singer's follow up single to her newly released "Familiar" music video and it's definitely a precursor to more music.
