In 2016 Orlando, Florida based rapper Woop was poised to become the next big star in rap having collaborated with likes of Migos, Kodak Black, and Yo Gotti. Unfortunately a 2010 charge for "shooting / throwing a missile at a building or vehicle landed him in court facing up to 15 years in prison. However on April 26, 2016 Woop was sentenced to two and a half years and was released in Spring of 2018.
Now Woop is a free man, ready to take hip-hop by storm, and EARMILK has the pleasure of premiering his first single and corresponding video for "IDGAF."
The video opens with words akin to a new mantra towards life taken directly from Woop, "life is too short for any of us to give a fuck about those who doubt, fuck the critics, fuck the masses, fuck the fake, and most of all fuck my enemies, be yourself, fuck what they saying."
"IDGAF" is a rough and rugged tale of Woop's trap aesthetic and his yearning to do anything but remain motionless in the landscape of the rap music scene. With dark ominous bells, heavy bass, and a triplet heavy lyrical scheme "IDGAF" is the launching pad Woop needs to re-solidify his place amongst that baddest motherfu*kers around.
Catch Woop on tour this Spring and peep his new video “IDGAF."
