Today we introduce you to Fyans, a four piece band made up of front woman Kate, brothers Joe & Sam and Al Green. The quartet's latest single "Two Birds" is a blissful, heart warming record that dwells on the need to be understood. Over a down tempo, dreamy back drop Kate delivers a passionate performance with her commanding and alluring vocals that sounds like a mix of Amy Winehouse and Jill Scott. Musically their sound is a blend of soul, electronic and acoustic elements and also tap into a more contemporary sound for good measure.
The four man band met at different times in their youth and struck a long lasting friendship that seeps into their music. Drawing on influences from old school legendary acts such as Tammi Terrell to Herbie Hancock to even Pharrell, Fyans aims to deliver their unique blend of soul tinged records that exude a wide range of styles.
