Mr Jukes Remixes Michael McDonald’s uplifting “Hail Mary” single

R&B and soul legend Michael McDonald continues to thrill us with his incomparable musical talents. After dropping his acclaimed album 'Wide Open' last year, we get to hear a something fresh as producer Mr Jukes (aka Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club) takes some time out to remix "Hail Mary". The original song which is a highlight off the aforementioned album gets a solid makeover as Mr Jukes adds some hip-hop flavour into the mix. A solid blend of Michael's commanding soulful vocal tone layered against a head nodding lush acoustic groove.

Michael McDonald's resume spans 3 decades plus and has collaborated with a who’s-who of critically acclaimed artists across a number of genres, including Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Vince Gill and Grizzly Bear. McDonald also recently collaborated with bassist Thundercat and Kenny Loggins on the hit single “Show You The Way. He is currently preparing to head out on his first UK tour in 8 years in support of his 'Wide Open' album – his first full length in over a decade.
