The Aces are on fire in this new 80's pop-drenched single "Volcanic Love"

An EARMILK 'Artist to Watch' group back in 2017, The Aces, are back with a new single "Volcanic Love"

"Volcanic Love" is drenched in 80's pop melodies, enough so you'd think it was taken right out of a scene from "Sixteen Candles". For me, this track really showcases the forward moving direction of the Utah-based rock group. The lyrics and overall production of the track have a bit more build to it compared to their past singles. Both the drums and guitar hit that much harder and the songwriting just seems fuller. The track's lead vocals are emotionally-charged from start to finish with a catchy back end vocal support that really lures the listener in to sing along.  They've talked about how their hit single "Stuck" was actually written years earlier. So it makes sense that we see a maturing sound continue developing with this band that clearly has no desire to remain stagnant. We can't wait to listen to the rest of their much-anticipated debut album, When My Heart Felt Volcanic, set to come out April 6th.
