Jules beams through the "Eclipse" with this sonorous effort

Rising singer/songwriter Julianna Isabella Pollifrone professionally known as Jules delivers her latest tune "Eclipse" from an unexpected but yet profound place. The song was inspired by a line from Grey’s Anatomy where doctor Christina Yang turns to Meredith Grey before she leaves and says: “don't let what he wants, eclipse what you need”. The dreamy backdrop also serves as the perfect setting for the theme of the song where she dwells on the journey of not relying on somebody to provide you with happiness after coming out of a toxic relationship and the pain that comes with it.  She sings "...The poison's so sweet, the taste of gravity/ always feeling certified..." showcasing her hushed, passionate drawl over the ethereal soundscape. "Eclipse"  follows the success of her previous song "Eyes Shut"

Born in San Jose, California, she released her debut EP 'Stories Never Told' in 2015 produced by local producer and musician Robert Berry (Hush, Emerson Lake & Palmer). Her break out song "Telephone" caught the attention of British producer-composer, Richard Harris who encouraged her to co-write and record with him in Los Angeles. Recording in various LA studios, like 17 Hertz and the historical Village Recorder she consistently garnered the attention of other new producers, one of which, Willie Donut (Justin Bieber and Fergie) produced the single, “Pressure” to be released later this year.
