Bobby Nourmand unleashes a dangerous "Prisoner" for house

LA's rising producer Bobby Nourmand has a knack for getting the masses moving. His soulful and refreshing style of house has been championed by the likes of Pete Tong and BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Chill, and Mixmag while also topping Spotify and Shazam charts. Kicking off 2018 with a bang, Bobby Nourmand has blessed our ears with an emotive, pulsating groove called "Prisoner." Between the lush production style and dusty, soulful vocals, "Prisoner" is an instant hook.

Layers of sleek instrumentation, driving beats, and the tender, yet impactful vocal performance give "Prisoner" an energy suitable for dancing, but it also proves ideal for chilling out alone. Singer Laurent John is able to capture the underlying emotional turmoil and struggle theme, making for these beautiful and captivating moments. Nourmand describes the track:

"Hearing the vocals live gave me goosebumps. It was actually hard to play the piano while listening to the lyrics; one of the most powerful moments in my career as a musician. Talk about catharsis. I had to take a moment to breathe while writing this."

Last year saw a number of Bobby Nourmand releases on The Magician's Potion Records imprint and it's confirmed we'll see more of that this year. Nourmand is also gearing up for the launch of his own label this year–keep watch on this one.
