The emcee recruits producer Donwill who laces the lyricist with a cinematic gloomy soundscape that more than enhances his vivid stories and graphic illustrations. In a nutshell he brings back that raw, unfiltered dopeness. Speaking on the joint, Mikal said “no matter what sub-category an emcee is, they are looking to be crowned the ruler of their domain. My specific aim with this track was to show a glimpse of my evolution in the game and my right to sit on the throne.” "Iron Throne" serves as the title track to Mikal’s forthcoming solo full-length album and is available now.
