Above & Beyond find 'Common Ground' on latest album

Above & Beyond are the masters of their craft. Since the early 2000's the trio has amassed a familial following behind their music and their label, Anjunabeats. Their artist albums – which are few and far between considering their long history together – are simultaneously formulaic and innovative. Their latest album, Common Ground, demonstrates the prowess they have in understanding their fanbase, the current state of electronic music, and what will please their fans as well as welcome in new ones. This sixth album release does just that – it welcomes back longtime vocal collaborators Zoe Johnston (of "Good For Me," "We're All We Need," "Alchemy"), and Richard Bedford ("Sun & Moon," "On My Way To Heaven), sees tracks that are born ripe for remixing and longevity, and an overall emotion that looks straight into humanity's soul. What's different about Common Ground, though, is its moments for pause. There are tracks that make us stop and think, and while those might be ready for their club moment too, make perfect sense in this moment. The album debuted today at #4 on the iTunes album charts, and #1 on the iTunes dance charts.

Common Ground comes after extensive single releases and is out now via their own Anjunabeats. Above & Beyond are currently on a North American tour celebrating the album's release – who for which each ticket sold will get a hard copy of the album.
