France's electronic music scene has never been hotter. With Malaa, Loge21, Dustycloud, and many more having monster years, the amount of quality house music French producers have released in 2017 is staggering. A good chunk of it has emanated from Tchami's Confession imprint, but Mad Decent recently decided to step into the ring with "Antigone," a relentless deep house tune from French compatriots Habstrakt and Dombresky.
"Antigone" is a fiery 126BPM house thumper oozing with funky UK garage influences. It has a tech house skeleton for the most part, but it's got that menacing bass house edge; think more Brodinksi than Jauz. However, its immersion of numerous sub-genres of house renders it a trailblazing slice of dance music, and one that you'll be hearing across the international club and festival circuits.
