Lane 8 has taken a new stride on his latest track. While in his most recent releases – "Little Voices" and his most recent "No Captain" – the San Francisco artist has staked his claim in the place where natural elements meet deep house sounds, he's gone broader on "Atlas." As the title might lead you to believe, he's redrawing the boundaries of electronic music, painting a new world view for those of us who might have sworn ourselves to a specific genre in the past. Still hitting the right buttons for the underground enthusiasts, "Atlas" is an even lower tempo that we have seen from Lane 8, but still with a mesmerizing synth line a la "Fingerprint."
"Atlas" is the second single off of Lane 8's sophomore album, due out next year via his own This Never Happened.
