We would like to introduce to you all Kristan Omor, a sultry, raspy-voiced alto who sings straight from the heart and whose single "Dragonfly" was fortunate to have caught our ears. The song is a brilliant mix of ’90s R&B and neo soul elements but first and foremost is Kristan's powerful vocals which can not be ignored. The love laden song is equipped with superb writing that sets it apart from the run-of-mill love ballads flooding the alternative airwaves. Teaming up with her bandmate and close friend Jason Edwards a.k.a. Brotherspanky , who crafts the lush soundscape, the two definitely hit the mark with this one.
"Dragonfly" is actually taken from Kristan Omor's debut EP, 'From Then',a compilation of songs about Kristan’s first experiences with love and heartbreak. The project also serves as a time capsule, preserving not only memories from Kristan’s college days but also her “sound” from the period. The EP is entirely produced/written by her and Brotherspanky.
