PALE WAVES soundtrack all the good and the bad of 'New Year's Eve'

PALE WAVES are making massive WAVES with their electro-tinged Brit rock sounds. These young Mancunian rockers clearly draw flavors from other UK groups including The 1975, Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Cure. Out via Dirty Hit Records, "New Year's Eve" premiered last week as PALE WAVES's third single of the year following the virally famous "There's A Honey" and "Television Romance." With a lighter feel and heavy guitar riffs, "New Year's Eve" tells the lonely tale of many people's start to the year. It's 80's-inspired synth rock re-imagined for the 21st century and the frustrating dating culture that comes along with it.
