As we are way past the summer months, it always feels good when I hear a sunny song such as this new one from producer Zemyu titled "Meditation". The upbeat reggae jam invokes the listener to tap into their inner strength and move away from all the drama life throws at them. Production wise, Zemyu blends island reggae, rnb and dance elements to make a splendid piece of art for vocalist General Steel to shine on.
Sascha Knodel (aka Zemyu) is a Bochum (Germany) born producer who learned how to play the keyboards at a young age. He went on to play at concerts when he was just 10 years old and started to compose and produce music when he was 15 years. After 10 years and many projects as a ghost producer for other big DJs, he decided to start his own project called „Zemyu“. Besides the latest single "Meditation“ he previously released "Can’t let go“ and is currently working on his debut project which will be announced much later in the year.
