CRSSD Festival, the 2 day house and techno summer paradise, finished up its last installment for the year, leaving us longing for its San Diego vibes, waterfront views of ships arriving at the dock, and of course, techno thumping in all directions. CRSSD has become one of the most impressive festival lineup curators, bringing some of the top house and techno artists from around the world under one roof. Impressively, acts like Hot Since 82, Rufus Du Sol, and Richie Hawtin brought in the night, while my underground favorites like Prok & Fitch and Latmun brought the heat during the day. Few festivals can make you feel clean while getting dirty, but CRSSD has somehow found the happy medium. With beautiful people, a beautiful place, and a filthy lineup, this festival has stuck out as one of a kind, especially in a time of over saturated festivals across California.
