A Brisbane trio by the name of MTNS has steadily been building a buzz with each release and every performance showcasing their brand of electro-pop. MTNS is the brain child of Tom Eggert, Robbie Hellberg and Joseph Thiang. As they are prepping for the release of a new EP titled Like A Stone, MTNS just dropped a new single titled "Waves" that will leave you wanting more.
"Waves" is a bass knocking, synth-filled cut that gives you an audio experience similar to the motions of ocean waves. Eggert's vocals are effortlessly floating along the pulsating, lush sounds. His vocals will remind you of Astronomyy mixed with LEISURE. The infectious hook will be stuck in your head after the first chorus. In describing the new single, MTNS shared:
“'Waves' is about how we experience different stages in life, with a specific focus on relationships. It’s based on how love can help us overcome things, and work through the ups and downs we often find ourselves in."
