Checking back on Disciples's last hit, it was rewarding to see what we called a "future hit" came to be so. "On My Mind" achieved Gold status earlier this year, and now the UK duo are back with a follow up entitled "Jealousy."
After embracing a rendezvous into pop crossover music, Disciples haven't left their roots in underground UK house behind entirely. They also haven't coopted a trend in their music, as "Jealousy" employs the vocals of one of their members – Nathan Duvall – in an impressive manner. The synergy between production and vocals on "Jealousy" is clear, as well as house's influence in its basslines.
