HAWAII94 unveils blissful new tune "Forever"

Melbourne, Australia producer HAWAII94 is set to release his upcoming LP, Evolve, on Stratford Ct on October 14th (yes that's Cassette Store Day for the astute ones), and we at EARMILK have the pleasure of introducing the first single from the project, called "Forever". It's a sunny, synth smothered pop tune with a hint of funk and chillwave thrown in for good measure. Similar to fellow artists like Brothertiger or Summer Heart, HAWAII94 has a leg up on the myriad of bedroom pop producers by imbuing his tunes with memorable vocal melodies and sticky hooks. Of course, this is nothing new to fans of the artists represented by label Stratford Ct, whose roster is chock full of sun-kissed chillwave and synth funk artists.

Evolve is the next step for HAWAII94, his first batch of new material since his 2014 Night Vision EP. He spent the time DJing, polishing his mixing and mastering skills, and more importantly, deciding on a sound, which led to two EPs worth of material to be thrown out before finding something worth sticking with on Evolve. "Forever" should go without saying that all that time spent searching was worth it.
