Anne-Marie announced a countdown to a new single seemingly almost out of nowhere at the beginning of this week. After reilluminating her collaborative chops on "Either Way" with Snakehips earlier in 2017, the British songstress and all-around badass has returned back with a new solo single of her own.
"Heavy" follows the punchy pop of "Ciao Adios," with this single giving more life to Anne-Marie's vocal power. Infectious runs are the highlight of "Heavy" as they're certainly lighter and airy when compared to the lyrics they're giving life to. Continuing Anne-Marie's beginnings with Rudimental, "Heavy" is out now via their Major Tom label with Asylum Records and the help of Warner Music UK.
