Toronto native Jay Glavany debuts his vibrant and groovy debut single “Fallen.” You might already know Jay from his co-production work on “Godspeed,” which featured JoeyBada$$ and appeared on Devontee’s album District Vibe. “Fallen” is sultry and searching, with Jay trying to reason if his love is as deep as it appears to be. The question on the hook is simple: “can I be falling in love?” Jay leaves space for the listener to consider the weight of the feeling, and remember their own struggles of parsing out love from lust. Singer Mauj also lends her velvety vocals and vexed perspective to the track.
Speaking about his music, Jay had this to say:
“I love to create my music from the ground up. I would consider my sound soothing, groovy and sensual with a kick, and smooth vocals to tie it all together. My goal is to make sure my listeners are able to think back to a specific moment or see an alternate reality while listening to my music.”
