Many listeners should now know that Lana Del Rey and A$AP Rocky are big fans of one another's artistry as they have collaborated numerous times in the past to create greatness. The unlikely duo seems to make incredible music together and these two new offerings are no exception.
The first song titled "Groupie Love" features only Rocky and serves as the more mellow of the songs. Lana Del Rey's vocal performance is the main attraction on this piece, as it should be. But the track has hints of A$AP's distorted ad-libs that they are very well known for making mainstream.
The second release, "Summer Bummer" features Flacko as well as Playboi Carti. The songs starts with Lana's beautiful voice accompanied by classic Carti ad-libs throughout the background as the beat begins to creep in. Rocky soon follows with his distinctive flow and lays a wonderfully executed verse over the instrumental.
The newly released songs are set to live on Lana's new album, Lust for Life, which is to be released on July 21, 2017.
