KRANE remixes Cashmere Cat, MØ and SOPHIE's '9 (After Coachella)'

Oakland native producer KRANE releases a feel-good rework of Cashmere Cat's "9 (After Coachella)" featuring MØ and SOPHIE. KRANE imparts sparkling synths and danceable bass to the experimental, growling track, giving it a new lighthearted energy.

By removing Cashmere Cat's grinding drop and adding a jersey club style build up, KRANE gives the track a future bass touch. This remix is decidedly less head-banging than his last, a collaborative rework of Sinjin Hawke's "Onset" with producer Alexander Lewis. The artist uploads the remix to a new SoundCloud account for his "bootlegs, beats, and other rarities." Hopefully, this means more off-the-beaten-path releases from the producer.

KRANE tells PopCrush about the release,

“Cashmere Cat’s been an inspiration to me from the beginning of my producing days. With this one I sat down, didn’t overthink it and just had fun. And it’s something I’m proud of that nods to the original but feels very me. I hope people enjoy it.”

The talented artist is set to perform at Nocturnal Wonderland in San Bernadino, CA this September. Check out his official website for more tour dates, and listen to his remix of "9 (After Coachella)" above.
