LA based band CRANE has dropped their music video for the song,"Bitches Upstate" , the second video off their recently released Fear of Flight EP, which boasts a wide range of genres while maintaining a distinct, recognizable sound.. The visual directed by videographer Kerry Porter is far from the norm and delivers aesthetics that will stick to the mind for probably the right and wrong reasons. It kicks off with a pair of hand crafted puppets, young ballerinas playing some sort of tug of war and a man in a Michael Myers mask. On paper it may seem a bit odd but watching the set pieces unfold will give you a better idea.
CRANE had its genesis in early 2016 in Los Angeles, with Bobby Crane began recording his debut EP with the help of young producers, Jesse Rhodes and Mark Einhorn at The Abstract Recording Studios. The creative synergy between the three was strong – they knew they were on to something, so they made it official. Rhodes joined as lead guitarist, backing vocalist, and Ableton programmer, Einhorn manned the keys, with Crane as lead vocalist. Soon, CRANE recruited Billy Parks as drummer, and the four began working on their live performance. After some time rehearsing, the band felt they were missing a key element: someone needed to "bring the boom." They held a private showcase and caught the attention of Bobby Crane’s long-time friend, Jeremy Bauer. Bauer was invited to join in on some rehearsals and quickly became CRANE’s official bassist. He definitely brought the boom.
