Gary, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs has never had issues with speaking his mind. His most recent project, You Only Live 2wice, spotlighted Gibbs on an emotional deep dive of processing being accused of a crime he did not commit.
This week, the rapper dropped a video for the song “Andrea” which serves as a spiritual sequel to the previously released visuals for “Crushed Glass”, also on You Only Live 2wice. The video features Gibbs rapping while driving a classic car through winding scenery and cutaways to a woman standing in the distance, only to take a tonal shift and reveal that he’s still laying in a jail cell.
