Matthew Koma's "Suitcase" is a nostalgic trip

Matthew Koma is back with a new tune and it's an even more emotional experience than the last single he released.

"Suitcase" is an acoustic documentation of one of Koma's more painful break-ups and his songwriting once again proves to be his strongest, most endearing talent.

On the song, Koma states that "'Suitcase' is a song about seeing your old relationships in your new relationships, your old loves in your new loves…looking back and accepting fault for things that no longer matter. It's about the feeling of unresolved closure". The beautiful melding of melancholy, piano-backed production and Koma's reflective lyricism creates a touching atmosphere that might soundtrack your favorite teen romance movie or your late evening music listening trips. Sincerity runs deep in all of Matthew Koma's music, and "Suitcase" is further proof of this fact.
