Two techno greats have reunited on a beloved collaborative project. First, there's Alan Fitzpatrick – the Drumcode frequenting, BBC Radio 1 Guest mixing veteran in the underground house scene. After recently releasing his You Got Me EP at the end of May, the British artist has set higher heights for creativity and collaboration for 2017 through his Customer moniker. Alongside Fitzpatrick, there's Reset Robot, his partner in crime as Customer, who also has earned his name in the UK playground for techno and moody house.
Customer started out with a release in 2014, Fast Forward / Hunderpantsie / Sagat, and have since released a few tracks here and there every consecutive year. Their most recent was Poot in 2016, but now, the guys are back with their biggest EP offering ever entitled Taxi Dance. The EP is due out Monday June 26th via Customer's Whistelblower Records and will feature two originals, "Taxi Dance" as well as "Eros," with the latter track getting extensive remixing from Deetron and Rhymos. Today, we have a special first listen to "Eros (Deetron Remix Dub)" as it brings us one day closer to our weekend trip down the rabbit hole. Here, the Swiss techno master has taken the moodiness from the "Eros" original and pumped it up with entrancing beats and bassline progression. Toggling back and forth between hi hats and acidic synths, his take on "Eros" draws us into the fire easily. Check it out above streaming via our EARMILK SoundCloud ahead of its release.
