The last time Strehlow graced the pages of the Milkysphere he dropped a bangin', string-infused ditty called "Eastside," and today the talented Milwaukee producer is dropping off a minimalist chill-out jam entitled "Downer." While the track has a slower tempo, it's more invigorating than its name implies thanks to some insane synths that are sure to get your head knockin'.
"Downer" is pretty laid-back for the most part, but packs a punch just when you get comfortable. It's a dope balance of nonchalant and turnt — part-elevator music, part-skrillwave — that's conducive to maxing out but lucid enough to keep you from nodding off. Jay Anderson even throws in some saxy riffs at the tail-end of the joint to add a little extra cayenne to the mix.
According to Strehlow, dude has a healthy dose of more singles, collaborations and features planned for 2017, so stay woke-a-cola for his next drop.
