Early last month electronic pop duo Galantis revealed their dance-ready “Hunter” and since, several artists including Henry Fong and Mike Williams added their touch to the track. With poppy elements and subtle tribal vibes, “Hunter” made for an ideal candidate for a remix, but it was NGHTMARE and Rickyxsan’s remix that shifted the track to a completely different dimension. The two artists are best known for their explosive sounds that dabble in the dubstep and trap realm. In their rendition of “Hunter”, they pitch the vocals down to create a more intense atmosphere, reeling in a hot and heavy drop as expected from the two. A metallic synth sharply chops up the feathery sounds found in “Hunter”’s drop. The two properly conclude the remix with a chilled trap beat and fervent kicks to level out the contagious energy.
