Van Jamme and Amon light up some old flames on "New Boo"

Is there anything sweeter than revenge? Stupid question, of course there isn't! Revenge has been fodder for good music forever, and today we get a heaping helping of just that with a new cut from Van Jamme and Amon. Titled “New Boo,” both artists go in on some old flames over a BANGER of a Jacob Lethal beat.

Amon and Van Jamme make a great pair. Though this isn’t their first time appearing on a track together, this very well may be their best. Could a possible collab EP be in the works? A writer could only hope.

All hopes for future projects aside, the the two play off of each other well. Amon’s verse is sharp and direct where Jamme’s is playful, aiming for the funny bone rather than the heart. The setup is reminiscent of “Baby Blue” by Action Bronson and Chance the Rapper, and there ain't a damn thing wrong that.

Peep the track above and be sure to keep your eyes and ears on these two Southern California rhymers going forward. After all, you heard the man; everyone else is “a downgrade.”
