There's something about Point Point's sound that's difficult to pin point (ha).  The French electronic group is hands down one of the most exciting things to happen to electronic music as of late. With each release, the group pushes the boundaries in both their music and branding. Bringing forward and elegance in minimalism and classic aesthetic, Point Point encapsulates familiar feelings in rejuvenating ways. Since the blow up of "Life in Grey", Point Point continues to deliver instant classics in their mysteriously vivid sound, moulding a whole new world and soundscape to get lost within.

Their latest single "Hands" depicts Point Point's signature warmth, with their plucking yet soothing synths that leave a mellowed cadence. There's a slight house vibe to the work with the deep vibes and 90s-esque vocals of Denai Moore. Somber melodies create for a penetrating work, enticing listeners saturated emotions. "Hands" is a strong symbol of Point Point's abilities in curating a vision that is pure and honest in sonic and visual form. The group has also unveiled a cinematic music video directed by Kristof Brandl. The video explores the vulnerabilities of a young man drafted to the military and his struggle with memories of love floating in the back of his mind. The visual concept for "Hands" and track make for a somber juxtaposition, with the music showcasing a harsh reality.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
