Taiwanese producer Gill Chang, based in Los Angeles is known for his whimsical electronic sound that quirkily intermingles pop feels with complex productions. The outcome in both his remixes and originals is a fervently colourful style that hooks listeners in from first listen. The producer has had a strong year so far, collaborating with up and coming vocalists including Sophie Meiers, Aviella Winder and more. Additionally, Gill has unveiled some poppin' remixes, which he characteristically paints over his own feathery sound from the likes of Flume, Ookay, Chainsmokers and more.

Today EARMILK is excited to premiere an original, "Story". The collaboration is with vocalist Cimo Fränkel who is from Amsterdam but based in LA. The artist embraces sleek vocals that compliments electronic styles well and he has an effective story-telling approach in his tracks. In "Story", Gill Chang ventures out into new ground with this work, veering towards a more minimal but still thought-provoking production. The trumpet melodies add for a jazzy feel, lifting mood of audiences. The vibey melody is one that's sure to be stuck in your head throughout the day, especially with the choppy trumpet insert. "Story" is a perfect precedent to the upcoming summer season, with it's chilled ambience and lust evoking ways.

"Sometimes it's as quick as reaching out to a fellow musician and start creating something together straight away. It's barely a couple of weeks later and this song is out! The vibe was right so we could not waste any time on waiting to let you hear this" – Cimo

"One of my new year's resolution was to write more music featuring a variety of vocalists, so I am 100% happy about how this track turned out! Cimo did an amazing job capturing the vibe I was going for with this track!" – Gill

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
