Today EARMILK has the pleasure of premiering the new project out of Australia called Akurei, and while not much is known about him, what I can say is that the music speaks for itself. A sweet mixture of chilled atmospheric electronica with smooth R&B vibes and the warm vocal stylings are easy on the ears and soul. “Hinterland is about finding a space to reflect. I’m inclined to ruminate, so this song is about the decision to go outside, take a walk and stop sitting with my thoughts,” Akurei said.
