Vex Ruffin has been a seminal member of the Stones Throw roster since 2011, when he dropped his first batch of experimental hip-hop/post-punk compositions with the aptly named Crash Course EP. The Chino Hills native then followed it up with his revered debut self-titled LP two years later, which has lead to him taking his deconstructed sound on the road to stages & festivals all around the world.
Today, Stones Throw has finally announced Vex's sophomore album, Conveyor, and Vex has decided to give fans another taste of what to expect with the second single off of the project,"Front". It is a slowed-down, ethereal 4/4 dance track with traces of 80's new-wave that sounds suited for the 4 AM come down at the after party. Peep the track above and make sure to cop the Conveyor LP when it is released on April 7th via Stones Throw Records.
