When you think of Manchester, England, the first things that come to mind are probably two of the biggest football teams in the world, rain & The Hacienda. Looking through the history books at the Manchester music scene it'll become blatantly clear that the city is more famed for it's bands such as The Smiths & Oasis, than it's rapidly excelling rap scene. However, theres a new wave of artists that are pushing through to make sure that Manchester's music scene isn't boxed off by a few bands and a now defunct nightclub.

Step forward Sleazy F, arguably the brightest young talent in Manchester right now. Part of the Grey collective formed by like-minded bodies across the city, including Bipolar Sunshine, Sleazy has been hard at work, putting in the hours and honing his craft. His latest track "Let It Go", has been heating up the Manchester nightlife, and the scene itself is supporting him. Backed by a KC Locke directed visual which is icy to say the least, Sleazy tears through the trap-esque beat, with a gritty flow that cuts through the instrumental with aplomb. "Let It Go" is a strong track, and one that the whole Manchester scene can push forward behind and start to shine along with their U.K. counterparts. London artists such as Nines & Giggs are seeing their music hit whole other levels, and theres no reason as to why Sleazy and some of his other Manchester rap affiliates can't be up there with them.
