London’s Little Boots has come a long way from her days posting homemade videos of covers on YouTube. To this day her early rendition of Hot Chip’s “Ready For The Floor” is a personal favorite, and with over 870K views since posted in 2008, it seems I’m not alone. Living up to the title of the most recent Little Boots album, Working Girl, Victoria Hesketh has been working hard over the years with three albums as well as countless singles, features, and remixes under her belt. Her cheeky and playful blend of 80s-inspired synth pop, dance, meets house is easily loveable, as is the tone of Hesketh’s voice, which lends itself perfectly to the genre.
