Little Boots throws down a 'NASTY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY MIX'

London’s Little Boots has come a long way from her days posting homemade videos of covers on YouTube. To this day her early rendition of Hot Chip’s “Ready For The Floor” is a personal favorite, and with over 870K views since posted in 2008, it seems I’m not alone. Living up to the title of the most recent Little Boots album, Working Girl, Victoria Hesketh has been working hard over the years with three albums as well as countless singles, features, and remixes under her belt. Her cheeky and playful blend of 80s-inspired synth pop, dance, meets house is easily loveable, as is the tone of Hesketh’s voice, which lends itself perfectly to the genre.

Celebrating all the leading ladies out there, Little Boots has a fun mix filled with lots of girl power. Throwing in lots of classic 80s vibes, this is the sort of mix that just reminds you to let loose and take life a little less seriously. Plus, any excuse to add the lovely Grace Jones to the day should have you sold. Enjoy Little Boots’ mix and make sure to check out that Hot Chip cover!
