Taylor J is a 25-year-old emcee/songwriter from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Coming off the release of his most recent mixtape, The 91 Family, which was fully produced by powerhouse producer Lex Luger, the two are back with the first single off their next project. "Petty" has Taylor rapping about how he is tired of people claiming that they really got it. He starts the track by aiming at a girl who is always on his ass about the dumbest stuff and he is only with her because she lets him hit it. Later in the track, he goes directly at anyone in the music industry trying to flex. He wants them to know he can see right through anyone that is lying about the life they live. With production from Lex, this has all the elements that a perfect trap anthem needs. Check this out and be on the look out for the duo's new project.
