Adult Karate and Adaline soothe your ears with "Friction" [Premiere]

After turning heads with his single "So Low," LA producer K.C. Maloney as Adult Karate is teaming up again with Canadian singer/songwriter Adaline to deliver another crowd pleaser called "Friction." Going for a more of an upbeat approach, Adult Karate creates something effervescent and alluring, but also tender and emotive. He says that he wanted to make this track "like one of those old country songs, but danceable." These pillowed bouncing beats and the nostalgic, chilled out instrumentation are definitely enough to get you moving.

Adaline brings the most perfectly delicate vocals to adorn Maloney's dreamy production. Having worked with her for his previous track "So Low," when Adult Karate found himself in a roadblock with writing, he knew that Adaline would deliver. With her contributions, Maloney says that "the stuff she wrote made it sound like a duet." We're happy to see these two teaming up again! Look for "Friction" and Adult Karate's new Indoors EP out March 31st via Plug Research Records.
