Have you thought to yourself recently, “Hmmm I need more plaid in my life. Plaid, smooth hip-hop flow and insanely long bell bottoms!” Oh, you have?! Well, friend, you’re in luck! Rome Fortune has that and more with his visual treatment for Jerome Raheem Fortune standout, “Blicka Blicka.”
“Bow bow.”
All crazy costumes aside, this video is pretty dope. “Blicka Blicka” is a kooky song, one that resides on the creative side of the hip-hop spectrum, and deserves a visual that is a bit more out there.
The video features Rome wandering through a deserted trailer park and generally tripping out. It’s a rather simple video, with little in the way of editing or visual add-ons, but it does the track justice. The cut scenes, title screen, and filter all have a 70’s vibe which complements the trippiness of the song and brings the theme together.
Rome has a unique style and is unafraid to show it, which makes him a joy to listen to and watch. Give the Anthony Supreme directed clip a look, and stay locked on EARMILK for all things Rome Fortune.
