NYC-based producer/DJ Baauer has always held a special place in my heart. I mean, long before he became a household name with "Harlem Shake," the trap banger that transformed into the meme of the century. While that track threatened to forever pigeonhole him as a trap producer, us early acolytes could always tell there was more to the man than ratchet snare-rolls and trap drops (not that there's anything wrong with ratchet snare-rolls and trap drops). That's why it's always a pleasure when Baauer throws us some off-the-cuff original stuff that blows all those early expectations away… and he's done it again with his flip of Kodak Black's "Too Many Years" featuring PnB Rock.

It doesn't get more off-the-cuff than this. I don't think anyone was expecting someone to turn KB's 2016 hip-hop summer jam into a club friendly, garage-house joint… and least of all would you expect Baauer to be the one to do it! But the remix is undeniably a fire track from the talented producer, and is certain to make even the most trap-heavy aficionados get down and dirty on the dancefloor.
