Hailing from St. Louis, MO, Feekee, known best for his collaborations with the likes of Killer Mike (Run The Jewels), Cook Classics, Little Shalimar, and Tef Poe, is today premiering protest anthem "Fired Up" on EARMILK.
In lieu of today's inauguration, "Fired Up" is a call-to-action tune filled with an inspirational message for the masses. With aim to unify those who feel voiceless, Feekee borrows both from the past by sampling Pastor T.L. Barrett’s rendition of the traditional gospel hymn “Nobody Knows All The Trouble I’ve Seen” and the present (i.e. Obama's chant "Fired up! Ready to go!").
Acting as a precursor to Feekee's forthcoming debut EP Goodnight To Forever, "Fired Up" is your rally cry.
